i've been experimenting with sour dough. as a matter of fact, i "caught" my own yeast! i have white bread down pretty well now, ands its time to start adding things that actually make it kinda healthy...no, not purple or green food coloring, though it is a favorite around here! how about some flax seed and wheat germ? thats what i added yesterday...good stuff

its friday!
and fridays in our house mean no meat...especially during lent! actually, it means stations of the cross and then a soup supper....i'm bringing the usual, with a little twist...corn chowder, and homemade bread....
