life.

yeah, its crazy.

especially around here.

crazy busy, crazy fun, and well, quite frankly, just plain ole crazy!

surprised by that?

don't be.

we've had snow days...

we've had sunny days...

we've had birthdays...

we've had really productive days...

we've had very messy days...

and...

we've even had knitting days...

yup, crazy, but normal.

we've been so busy, i can't keep up...

so i'd like to say thanks to all who have included us in your treasuries,

the saga continues......

so, i've been back online,

finally,

but.....

(yeah, there's always one of those)

my desktop is still SERIOUSLY broken. trashed. dead. you get the picture.

thankfully we got a full protection plan when the bought the hideous contraption a few years ago, because it has been nothing but a headache from day one.

anyway, today the repair man is coming. that's pretty normal, right? WRONG! we don't do things the "normal" way around here. ever. that would be too...um, boring? yeah. we like excitement, apparently.

sooo....

the repair guy is coming to my mom's house to fix my desktop. there is no way the poor guy could even dream of making it up our infamous driveway. i can just imagine his van sliding backwards down our luge and wrapping it around the telephone pole at the bottom....probably wouldn't be a pretty sight.

nope, not pretty.

sooo...
this morning, i packed up...

my kids (coats and hats included...yes, a milestone)
their school work ('nuff said about THAT)
my camera (can't leave home without it you know)
diaper bag (shouldn't leave home without that either, but i've been guilty of it many times before)
repair parts for the computer that were shipped to my house

and

my desktop.... computer, monitor, mouse, keyboard, and even all the correct wires (i think)

with all this in tow,

i headed out the driveway,

leaving my cozy little house on the hill (aka. the glacier) with a fully stoked coal fire burning for gramma harv's....

and here i sit, waiting.......

i'm back

(well, sort of...i've still got some kinks to iron out)

and i've got so much to share with you all!

unfortunatly,

i lost a ton of my pictures

(and the ability to spell)

but...

just because my computer was down, doesn't mean i stopped taking pictures

maybe i should start with these...

i've been a very bad blog friend to you all. im sorry.

its just that i've been severly addicted to my newest craft craze. bad excuse, huh?

i know, i know....

but...

i blame it all on my mom and her teaching me to be creative since i was a kid....

and...

her teaching me how to knit

(i'm still in denial about this part).

really, its all HER fault!

so, dear blog readers you are not the only ones who suffer from my love for kool aid...

my children groan everytime i say they can't have that flavor of kool aid because i have other plans for it.

my poor husband wonders what he should do with the drip drying yarn that is hanging in the shower.

and

gramma harv has had to take special trips to the grocery store to find the right colors for me

but, like i said,

its all her fault anyway.

hey, i never even wanted to know how to knit!!!

but, i promise i'll try to be kinder to ya'll...

and since you've been so patient i guess i should take the time to share these......

my first finished kool ade project

this project is nearly finished....maybe tonight

and this one...well,

i guess we'll all have to wait and see what the "mystery ball" has hiding inside it!

ok....i'm really not taking sides...

i promise!

i really wanted to take pictures today, but its raining.

my purple and green kool aide dyed yarn project is all done.
i've dyed another ball of yarn and its so full of brilliant colors! i cant wait to share it with you.
